    is a lot of 10 unusual vintage cardboard ‘Posted’ signs which read ‘Posted – No hunting or trespassing – except legal pheasant days’, with a place for the owner’s signature along the bottom edge.  I am not sure why a landowner would post his land with this exception – wouldn’t he rather hunt the pheasants himself rather than allow the general public on his land during pheasant season?? I do not know!

    DATE:  I’m not really sure on the age of these, but I would ‘guesstimate’ perhaps the 1940s or 1950s or thereabouts
